Thank you. 🙂 I think the site looks great! So from the front page of your section, if I click on “Uniforms,” it will take me to the dropdown menu, which will only include the Uniform categories. Then I can choose the conflict/era. Is the “Search” in the whole collection, or can you also search by category/era? Do you have enough documents to break them down further into newspapers, diaries, letters, etc.? I like the layout; it is clean and not too busy, which makes it appear more professional.

Thanks! I was conflicted about how to handle deeper searches, I appreciate the suggestions. I definitely want the ability to only search for a category within a time period. This is something else I’m still working on. But yes, you got the general idea.

I like the pull down menus, especially when you weird item names that no one will guess.

I’m wondering how people are going to know that your objects are in 3D. Are you going to have the figure top left rotate around or something to demonstrate the 3D feature?

Also was wondering if it would help to put the date range covered on the homepage, or perhaps a clickable timeline.

The picture of the sword is wonderful.
